Dr James Teh is an experienced Consultant Radiologist, specialising in the imaging of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and spine. His radiology training took place at Barts and the Royal London, followed by a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. He was awarded the Roentgen Professorship by the Royal College of Radiologists in 2018.
His practice involves the imaging of patients with musculoskeletal tumours, rheumatological diseases, bone infection and trauma. He has a special interest sports imaging and has worked at several international games including the Olympics, Commonwealth and World Championships. Dr Teh performs complex interventional procedures including biopsies, vertebroplasties and ablations. He has a wealth of experience in ultrasound guided interventions including hydrodilatation, PRP injections, trigger finger release and dry needling procedures.
He is a committed teacher with a strong background in medical education. He has been involved in course and conference organisation, curriculum development, lecturing and hands-on teaching in ultrasound. He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer for Oxford University.
