Dr Graeme Thompson is an Oxford-based musculoskeletal radiologist originally from Cape Town, South Africa. Where he worked for 15 years, treating a wide range of athletes from Springbok Rugby/Rugby Sevens and Proteas Cricket teams as well as weekend warriors.
He was a founding member of the South African Musculoskeletal Imaging Group, a subgroup of the Radiological Society of South Africa tasked with promoting the MSK subspeciality. Now a Consultant with Oxford University Hospitals and a partner in Oxford Musculoskeletal Radiology, he works closely with Oxsport, and receives referrals from Southampton FC as well as Olympic athletes from the English Institute for Sport.
He is married with three adult children and spends his free time taking part in multisport events, having completed 3 full and 8 half Ironman Triathlons.
