Mr Gavin Brigstocke is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a broad practice covering all areas of hand and wrist surgery, with a particular focus on wrist injuries.

Originally from Hampshire, he was educated at Canford School before graduating from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2004. He completed higher orthopaedic training on the South West Thames rotation and is dual fellowship trained, having undertaken specialist posts in trauma surgery in New Zealand and in hand and wrist surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He is a member of both the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.

His research, particularly in motion-preserving surgery of the wrist, has received multiple awards, and he has presented his work internationally and published in peer-reviewed journals.
