Mr Dan Shaerf specialises in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery in both adults and children. He treats fractures and trauma to the hand as well as non-traumatic hand disorders. He has a keen interest in the treatment of arthritic conditions of the hand and performs joint replacement surgery using cutting-edge technology. After undertaking three prestigious subspecialty fellowships in both orthopaedic and plastic hand and wrist surgery at internationally renowned institutions he was appointed as a Consultant Hand and Orthopaedic Surgeon at London North West University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Mr Shaerf regularly treats professional sports people and musicians. Having been involved in a road traffic accident sustaining multiple fractures himself, he has a real understanding of what it is like to be on the receiving end of upper limb surgery. This gives him a unique understanding and insight into the experience of his patients.
