Mr Leong is a Consultant Spinal Surgeon and Honorary Associate Professor at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and UCL.

His practice involves all aspects of spinal problems with children and adults. His research interests are in Surgical Technology, Medical Robotics and Surgical Skills Training and Assessment.

Mr Leong completed his PhD thesis, “Hand-eye coordination in Surgery” at Imperial College London. His supervisors were Professor Ara Darzi, Professor Guang-Zhong Yang, and Professor Roger Emery.

His spinal training included Great Ormond Street Hospital, Whipps Cross and Stanmore. He has completed fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Exeter and Japan.
