Mr Corbett is a shoulder and elbow specialist.

He is surgeon to sports professionals in rugby, cricket and athletics. His primary interest is arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery, and the reconstruction of complex shoulder and elbow injuries.

Julia returns to the slopes following keyhole surgery

5 months following key hole surgery with Mr Corbett, Julia returned to the slopes with confidence. She found her shoulder was slightly limited, but due to her exercise programme and the advice from Mr Corbett she felt strong. Julia wanted to share her advice with individuals in a similar position. “My advice would be to have the operation, I found the pain very hard to manage and I couldn’t perform simple tasks such as lifting the shopping without the shoulder feeling quite unstable. Make sure to do your research and find a good shoulder surgeon, I would recommend Steve to anyone.”

It's hard to imagine receiving a better level of care. Mr Corbett is clearly an expert in his field but he also has a great manner and humility in the way he relates to you. 

Open arthrolysis of the elbow surgery

This procedure is usually performed under a general anaesthetic using ‘open’ surgery

Flexor tendon repair surgery

Surgery involves stitching the ends of the divided tendon back together.

Biceps tendon surgery

This type of surgery is used to treat a tear or rupture such as a distal biceps tendon tear
