Nev Davies specialises in children's orthopaedics and knee surgery. He is one of a small number of surgeons in the UK treating knee problems across all ages, and is regularly referred complex cases and second opinions from around the country.
His children's practice covers musculoskeletal problems from infancy through adolescence, including gait and developmental concerns, foot and limb problems, hip and knee conditions, and sports injuries. He has a particular interest in knee injuries in young athletes, including ACL injuries, meniscal tears, osteochondritis dissecans and patellar instability. His adult practice is dedicated to the knee, including sports injuries, ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair, patellofemoral instability, joint preservation and knee replacement.
Nev teaches nationally and internationally on children's orthopaedics and knee surgery, and is actively involved in clinical research. He is a Trustee and co-founder of Power Up to Play, an injury prevention initiative working with schools, clubs and coaches to reduce serious sports injuries in young athletes.
