Fortius Clinic has today announced an official partnership with AFC Wimbledon, as the club’s Health and Wellbeing Partner.
This autumn marks two historic moves for both Fortius Clinic and AFC Wimbledon. Fortius has recently opened a state-of-the-art orthopaedic and sports injury treatment clinic in Wimbledon, expanding its London footprint and bringing outstanding surgical and medical care to patients in the South West. AFC Wimbledon returns to its original home in Plough Lane with a brand-new stadium after 20 years away.
Founded in 2009 by clinicians, Fortius Clinic is the UK’s single largest orthopaedic group with an international reputation in sports injury treatment. Fortius Clinic is already the preferred clinic of choice for many premier league football clubs, and is a recognised FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence.

About AFC Wimbledon
AFC Wimbledon were born out of adversity in 2002. Seen as the continuation of Wimbledon FC who on May the 28th 2002 were given permission to relocate to Milton Keynes. Wimbledon Fans got together and decided to start again. The Dons Trust would own the club and it would become a wholly fans owned club.
Since those early days the football club has gone from strength to strength. Winning 6 promotions and finding its way back to the EFL in 9 short years. The club has had many heady days which include playing Liverpool in the FA Cup and actually knocking out West Ham United in 2019.
