Ms Claire Robertson is a Consultant Physiotherapist and knee specialist. She runs a specialist patellofemoral clinic, working closely with clinicians to ensure patients are getting the very best treatment for their knee injury and to help them overcome their knee pain.
Claire is also the Consultant Physiotherapist for the Warren Smith Ski Academy and runs her own post-graduate course on patellofemoral problems for physiotherapists.
Claire qualified in 1994 with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy, before going on to obtain her MSc Physiotherapy in 2003, and PGCE in 2006. Claire has worked across the public, academia and private sectors.
She has lectured internationally and has had many research papers and editorials published in leading peer-reviewed journals. In 2012, Claire was awarded a research grant by the Physiotherapy Research Foundation to investigate the meaning of crepitus to patients with patella femoral pain syndrome. She is also a reviewer herself for the Physiotherapy Research International and Physiotherapy journals.
