Mr Vish Patel - Professional Bio
Mr Vish Patel has extensive specialist training in shoulder and elbow surgery. He provides thorough assessment and diagnosis, non-operative treatment and advanced keyhole surgical techniques where surgery is required.
He continues to practise within the NHS at the Royal Berkshire Hospital Shoulder and Elbow Unit in Reading, where he performs at least 400 procedures each year and routinely monitors patient outcomes.
Mr Patel uses modern surgical techniques and technology to support early rehabilitation following surgery. He has presented research nationally and internationally on rotator cuff repair and shoulder instability, and has received an international award for his research into patient safety.
Known for his kind and approachable manner, Mr Patel is committed to providing personalised, evidence-based care. He works closely with physiotherapists and radiologists to establish an accurate diagnosis, provide timely treatment and support patients throughout their recovery.
