Dr Anthony Hammond - Professional Bio
Dr Anthony Hammond specialises in the management of disc-related back pain and sciatica. He was appointed Physician and Rheumatologist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and has specialised in interventional spinal pain management in which he is a senior tutor for the International Spinal Pain and Intervention Society (IPSIS).
He graduated from Edinburgh. He trained in Edinburgh, Bristol, Bath and London including The Royal National Hospital for Rheumatology, Bart's Hospital and The Royal Postgraduate Medical School. He has a Doctorate in the Immunology of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
He is active as a medico-legal expert witness.

The hospital has a high-spec imaging suite fully equipped with an MRI, CT scanner and X-ray machine. There are three state-of-the-art operating theatres, two anaesthetic rooms and a recovery bay.
